S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale: a history of dedication and quality
Founded in 1972 by Sergio Poletti, S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale is a family-owned company with a long history in the production of on-board and stand-alone battery chargers, and is constantly engaged in the development of solutions for charging batteries of all types (Lead Acid – GEL – AGM – Lithium), offering both standard and customized products.
Located in Crevalcore (Bologna), S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale has gained a leading position in the electronic battery charger industry over the years. Thanks to the long experience and continuous R&D work implemented by its 90 employees, S.P.E. is able to guarantee the highest quality, reliability and satisfaction to its customers.
We are an Italian company known all over the world
S.P.E. Elettronica Industriale exports its battery chargers and accessories all over the world: from Europe to America, from Asia to Australia, to Africa. For this reason, all S.P.E. battery chargers have the CE certification. Some models have international conformity marks, such as UL, cULus, PSE, KC, PCT, InMetro, UKCA. The company cooperates with numerous subcontractors for PCB assemblies in order to produce high-quality finished products for its customers.
Passion for improvement
The company produces a wide range of high-precision electronic battery indicators, battery monitors, and data-loggers. The four main segments in which S.P.E. operates are: industrial cleaning machines, forklifts, electric vehicles, AGVs/AMRs and go-karts, and finally aerial platforms.
S.P.E. is divided into three plants, the headquarters and the main production complex, both located in Crevalcore (Bologna).
